India-Pakistan face to face in Sylhet, All matches of Bangladesh are in Mirpur

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has released the schedule for the Women’s T20 World Cup to be held in October. Bangladesh will play on the opening day of the tournament on October 3. But who is the opponent, it is not sure yet. The runner-up side of the ongoing World Cup Qualifying Tournament in the United Emirates will be the first opponent of Niger’s Sultana Jyoti. Bangladesh’s other opponents in Group ‘B’ are England, South Africa and West Windies.

Group ‘A’ has 6-time world champion Australia along with India, Pakistan, New Zealand and the champions of the qualifying group. However, India and Pakistan will meet on October 6, in Sylhet. Most of the Group A matches will be played in Sylhet. And being in Group ‘B’, all the matches of Bangladesh are at Mirpur Sherebangla National Stadium. The first semi-final of the tournament is on October 17, the second semi-final on October 18 and the final on October 20. However, there is a reserve day in the two semis and the final.

The teams will come to Bangladesh by September 26. Then they will play preparatory matches at BKSP ground No. 3 and 4 from September 27 to October 1.
